Here's some animations for the jumps and tricks. I did this during some chill time on my holidays without access to a computer. The iPhone is a surprisingly awesome tool for animation, using the camera and album mode to create flipbooks.
Pretty good to do some loose, old-school hand animations for a change. This will form the reference for the rendered animations when I bring it into the computer.
I'm basically using this to explore how many frames I need to create a smooth and convincing animation. Also I'm playing around with animation tricks like overlapping and stretching.
Tools used: pencil, grid paper, iPhone, camera roll preview.
